Thank god the news has been a bit thin on the ground regarding Smudger! Sir Alex also gave an update on the progress of Alan Smith, who is returning from a the broken leg and dislocated ankle he suffered against Liverpool at Anfield in February. Sir Alex says the Yorkshireman's rehabilitation is going well. "Alan is doing very well and we’re very pleased with the progress, but when he was injured in February we said he wouldn’t play for six or seven months so he won’t be back until the end of August, or early September." Also Paul Scholes has resumed full training and will be on the South Africa Tour, its like two new signings. P.S What is happening with our signings anyway??
Such is my transfer desperation that'd I'd be happy if we just sold someone, e.g. Silvestre. That would at least feel like a step in the right direction.
SAF notes though that Smith won't be part of the South Africa tour, as its too soon for him. http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?...=1&lid=&title=Fergie:+Tour+too+soon+for+Smith
SMUDGER YOU ARE MY SMUDGER, YOU ARE MY SMUDGER,MY ONLY SMUDGER, I love you Smiffy, you are one of the few United types at this club and a lot of players could learn from you.
We have signed another new whipper snapper by the name of Olly Gunner Solshire... Fresh faced young lad, definately one for the future... See it's not all doom and gloom!
