Well, The ITV Digital thing hasnt affected Walsall all the badly. We have been a well run club and are one of a few that are able too make a profit. luckily our wise chairman has the policy that if we dont have it, we dont spend it, so we are ok. BUT, today our boss has been told if he wants to strengthen the squad he has gotta sell first, so even though we are well run we now have to watch the £££. I mean, we are currently expandign our stadium and made a lot of signings (frees) in the summer, including Danny Hay from Leeds United and Dani Rodrigues (southampton) who are on a a few bob. Simo could have signed a short term contract, but he decided to go esle where.....but no he is back. There are loads of players playin for free everywhere. all in all its a good excuse for clubs like mine not to spend (we have bought 6 players in 12 seasons, the most expensive 150k for Leitao), our record signing is still Alan Buckley in 1987. see ya 4two- www.thesaddlersfc.tk
