It is with great regret, that upon returning from the USA today, I was informed by my son, and read in the "Obituaries" in the Man. Utd.programme of the death of Mrs. Shelia O'Sullivan on 26th March, who, together with her husband Pat, ran the "Moray Arms" pub for more than 30 years.
Many of you who have crossed "the pond" to see Arsenal would have joined me in a few pre-game beers there, and it was an Arsenal bar through and through.
They had both been planning (and delaying) their retirement back to Ireland, probably of wanting to continue serving the Arsenal supporters and the team, and not really wanting to leave.
I can think of no fitting tribute than for Arsenal to do "The Double" again this year in Shelia's honour.
She will be sorely missed, and was a wonderful woman.
I am sure that those of you who have joined me there will wish their condolenses passed on to her family.
(I am not aware of the cause yet, but will visit Pat this week to pass on messages of sympathy, and I presume that the funeral would have already taken place.)
    "God Bless You Shelia".

My deepest sympathies to Pat and the O'Sullivan family and my prayers are with them.
