This is a bit of a vent about how there are even stupid liberals! Last night I was out with my girlfriend and an an acquaintance of hers who a) was an attorney, b) used to work on the hill (for someone on the good side of the floor), c) claimed to be a bleeding heart liberal. Ok, over wine she says we need to support the troops. She read that they ration batteries to our soldiers in the field so they didn't have any extras to use on their portable cd players. She continued to say how Duracell or Energizer should donate them to the cause. I calmly, as calmly as I could with out turning red replied: "Our military spends $1.1 billion a day, they can afford some AAs". I then continued to state " I think the guys in the desert have more pressing concerns that listening to the Eminem albulm, if you want to get Duracell to donate something have them donate money to United Negro College Fund." Needless to say I embarassed my gf, but it was worth it because I can't stand stupid people. Moral of the story, even liberals are stupid. Sorry for the vent.

When I was in the ************ back in '69 nothing got me more motivated to fight the Cong than blaring Archie Bell and the Drells "Tighten Up". Hell, if I had had Eminem to listen to I would have gone up the Mekong even without being forced to at gunpoint.
