What will their future be with a USL Pro Sacramento team announced? Will this help or hurt the club? Will they form a partnership with or bd absorbed?

I wonder what the NPSL thinks about the USL Pro team getting 17000 a game. Probably pretty crappy.

Completely different levels of outreach and product. The Republic team aimed high from the start, and they've been incredibly successful. Gold FC is an amateur team and that's how they run it and that's where they know they'll always be. And that's fine, nothing wrong with that. But, getting people out to watch NPSL soccer on a eyesore of a horrible artificial turf field at a high school in West Sacramento, you can't expect more than a few hundred people to show up. Hopefully they can work hand in hand; Republic goalkeeper Jakubek actually used to play for the Gold, for example.

FULL TIME- Sol 0- Gold 2.

Sol drop a tough one to Sacramento Gold tonight in their season opener. Sol held a lot of possession, but failed to break down the Sacramento defense.

Sol will look to bounce back April 9th at Real San Jose

It was a balanced team effort from Sacramento Gold FC Saturday, with three goals from three players and a sturdy defensive performance across the board in a 3-0 win over a shorthanded Real San Jose at Capital Christian High School.

Erick Vega and Alex Bettencourt scored early for Sacramento, while Chimdum Mez added a third for insurance in the second half. Goalkeeper John Connolly (and substitute Andres Olmedo) pitched the Gold’s second shutout of the season, with help from the efforts of Man of the Match Zach Ulrich and the rest of the defense.
