Huge Celtic fan here. We get linked with everyone this time of year that is moving. :(

Guarantee he isn't coming. We have plenty of better midfielders rotting in the reserves waiting for a game already. If he did come then he wouldn't get a game.

We do desperately need a good LB and another striker if anyone knows somebody though. :D

I believe they have some sort of minimum work-ethic/work-rate policy in place at Kroger, so that's out.

I think Sacha would be much better off In Holland or France to start and maybe move to Italy or Spain. I don't see him being built for Scotland or Engerland.

IF Sacha over 5 million dollars and Chivas get DP out of it and salary cap space, then its a start move.

For what it's worth, and for totally selfish reasons I sure hope he doesn't leave. I love what Sacha brings to the league. Sometimes it's hard to see the impact he has on Chivas, but those few games he was out it became very clear just how much their often beautiful style revolves around his midfield awareness.

Sacha would go for 1-2m GBP if he Celtic made an offer. (which they won't)

I would love to see an American play for the Bhoys, but it never seems to happen when the signing is "almost done."

That's not how MLS works. Celtic can't trade a DP slot to Chivas USA.

no one ever said that Celtic would trade a DP slot to Chivas. the poster was just saying that the team would then have the money to afford a DP.

But Chivas traded their DP to NY, so even if they had the money they still need to acquire a DP slot form someone.

Food Lion might need someone to change the sell-by dates on packages of ground beef. That could work for EJ.

That's not how MLS works, either. Teams aren't allowed to put much money from transfers into players. I think the limit is $500K. I mean, NYRB doesn't have a $10M player budget for this year, right?

As long as he doesn't have to play with his back to the beef.
