I was browsing the MLS Next standings and what stood out was how dominant Sac Republic's U13's are. They have played 26 matches, have won all 26. Goals for 130, goals against 7. I have no affiliations with the club, I just heard through they were doing well and I thought I'd look at the website. https://www.mlssoccer.com/mlsnext/standings/2021-2022/u13_mls-next-standings They are the only U13 team in the nation with 3 PPG and zero losses/draws. Anyone know the reasons they are doing so well? Just got lucky with a good recruiting class?
Wild guess.. There is only one MLS academy in NW U13 and, from what I understand, the independent teams in MLS Next aren't particularly good for the most part.
True, I would just think the Earthquakes would be the top there. But a USL academy is doing better and very dominant.
