  1. Sounds friendly enough then. I'll get on that soon. And as you are all slowly learning, ain't no party like an MDSC party cuz an MDSC party don't stop. Holla!

    Baby! (I almost forgot)

    NO TO BLACK ROCK

I was there when the place was invaded by the Notts Forest Rugby team!!! Many of us left at halftime to go to the Map Room. Fonsos tried the Black Rock one year (2001 season, I think). We were always promised the back room with the large screen and the nice pool table, never got it. There was a bad plastic vibe from the yuppies in the neighborhood. In the front room unless you got a spot at the bar (limited) sight lines to the tv's were very poor - think neck strain.

The Rugby World Cup runs through November 22nd, so you can damn sure bet there will be interference with any watch party for the rest of the season.
Even if the matches are replays on FSW, there will be interference. Plus local rugby clubs come in after their matches to imbibe, etc. There will be interference.

Just say no to the Black Rock.
    They had their chance.

lookin forward to La Guerra De Las Ultras y Barras.

  5. I did not reserve the bus. I don't think there will be enough people who will be willing to go. Nobody was asking me about it yesterday when we were going to Columbus.

Please post here if you are interested in going. Getting a bus full will be very difficult. And only if it is filled, we can get a good price.

Do you guys have a block of tickets set aside, or a contact person who has actually spoken to anyone who's going yet? I have a friend in DC who is looking to join the Fire brigade.

    Later,

I have ticket info, PM me if you want to try and get in on the group rate, will call tomorrow and get information.

  11. I know that the ticket manager of DC United called the Fire asking if there will be a group of travelling support. They will be very happy to set up an away supporters section. Just call them and orgainze it. It seems that JeffGMc is already on it.

Also, we will have a group of Screaming Eagles coming to Chicago on November 9th.

Indeed I am. Just got off the phone with him a little while ago, having ordered mine and NC Fire's tickets. He has blocked off a section behind the Fire bench for us, so if you want in, let me know or contact him directly and tell him you are with the Chicago Fire travelling contingent. Tickets are $20 each.

    I accept PMs and e-mails to mccrum@hotmail.com

    Or contact DCU directly through:

ATA has an early flight out of Reagan/National at 6.30a Sunday morning.

Of course, roundtrip fare at this point is almost 300 dollars.

    About the same w/ Southwest.

So how many of you are coming? Enough to notice? That's not a slur, but in a crowd of 20k, 10-15 fans can be hard to find (I couldn't find you guys earlier this season). If there's a block, let me know what section you're in and I'll try to get some shots.

I may make next Sunday's return leg as part of a 3 leg trip to KC on Saturday. The Supporters Shield ceremony would be good to catch on film.

Sounds like a good time all around!

    Thanks Sach, see you there.

  25. As a fellow member of La Norte, we invite all fire supporters over to our tailgate right by the Lot 8 Tunnel, so long as you bring chips or soda or beer or something else. We'll be cool with you guys so long as u aren't *#*#*#*# like the ESC guys who rushed our section in game.

    Good Luck short of winning.
