    Hi, Party Babe here.
The Barn Burners are looking into arranging for a block of rooms, possibly in the team hotel which would include a shuttle to and from MCI (airport) and possible even Arrowhead.
Approximate cost is $105 for up to 4 people.
I need to know how many folks are interested in going.
Match time is 7:30pm so an overnight stay is almost necessary.
Please post interest and how many you are willing to bunk with or email me offlist at hori_too@yahoo.com and indicate "4/3 hotel poll" in the subject line. I need to get back to the travel agent as soon as possible to set aside a block.

Hmm I don't know. If we aren't staying at the home town inn is it really worth the trip?

Okay so the Ultra-type folk wish to stay at another location. That's fine. Are there any others out there? I need to act quickly to arrange a block of rooms like we have done in the past for Columbus trips.

You may also text or call 312-515-1684 my cell today or in the morning.

Home Town in is cheap and a block away from beer. I am of course staying there.

Phew. I am glad I'm not the only one who doesn't want to pay 100 bones for one night in KC.

Hometown it is! Hopefully the railings on the second floor wont fall off.

    Hmmm.

Either you need to hone your reading skills or exercise your math skills. $105 divided by four is only $26.25.

And if Dipsy is in the room next door ....

But yeah, you wouldn't want that.

Don't be an ass. Maybe his family is going so he has to pay all $105. Hmmm.

Was the hometown Inn the one just up the hill from the 7-11? .... the 7-11 with all-you-can-eat toppings on your hotdog? including relish, cheese, chili, cream cheese and more??

Maybe instead of trying to stay by the team, we should alert the team to this veritbal Taj Mahal of the KC suburbs.

Oh yeah, and I'm in. And Jason, if you haven't sold your van by then, can I ride and play FIFA with you?

Maybe you need to consider that perhaps some of us travel with a family of 5 and have to pay for the whole room by themselves. Uh...der ughh ughh..derr...hadn't thought about anything like dat dere mister.

That's ok. Ignorance is bliss, or so they say.

I should have read the thread to see that my enforcer would have my back. ;)

Flynn, the van will definately be primed and ready for roadtrips this year. We just got Fifa2004 too! We may have to change people around in the cars part way through, but your welcome to whatever spots are available.

As always, I'd be honored to ride in the Glasermobile Superdeluxe if there's space and the opportunity arises. And if you'll have me, of course :)

Just as long as Kou agrees to let me win on Xbox occasionally. He is ruthless!

Kou will never lose on purpose. It's a natural killer instinct refined through thousands of years of special breading.

I am envisioning a trip like the second KC game last year where we have my car, a couple of MDSC vehicles and Mr. Beers (and anybody else who wants to tag along) and we can just rotate people throughout the cars at different stops to share the games, movies and different conversations etc.

The game is mid-day saturday right? Are people going to leave early Saturday or head our Friday?

    Special Breading??!!!

Anyway, depending on when you're leaving and arrangements around here, I would either A)be willing to add my "wagon" to that train or B) ride along with someone. I'll know better which in a week or so (I hope).

Special Breading. Mr. Stoitchkov is familiar with the concept.

All right. I checked on Orbitz and the best deal I can find, Chicago-Portugal around March 2nd is $450 ... and I can't do that... at least to watch preseason friendlies. But I'm definitely in on this trip: "KC Opener: Like Last Year's KC II, But Bigger and Better."
