All this article says is the that Club may be sold -- not individual players to lower a wage bill or anything...

These things take a long time and probably wouldn't affect the current season much....

the present ownership has all the intentions to sell two more jewels out of its roster,mr.Stam and mr.Stankovic.
thje dutchman has asked in tribunal for a resolution of the contract with Lazio (he has not been paid since June): rumor is Juventus is interested in him and would like to send Fresi or Iuliano to Rome as partial compensation
Stankovic is highly coveted by both milanese clubs, but in this case Lazio would get something valuable in return: Dalmat (I'd do it now!),Dalla Bona,Serginho among possible trade pieces

basically the two are gone, unless the new owner decides he wants to start the new enterprise paying the debts of the predecessor

Cragnotti is negotiating the sale of the club with Khaddafi; if the deal is finalized the son of the Lybian leader will be a regular starter in the hole, you know that? :D
