    Big game. Battle for 1st.

P.S: I don't know if you guys have heard. But Coentrao has been practicing as a LWB for Jesus during the week again. When he was asked about it in an interview, he said "he has no personal feeling where he is put on the field. If he is on the field he will try and do the best he possibly can to help the team."

With that new information, I take it he rather likes the LWB position...

    This is my lineup...

    ------- Oscar ---- Savi --------
Di Maria ----- Aimar ------ Ramires
    ------------- Javi ---------------
    Coentrao -- Luiz -- Luisao -- Amorim

Should be interesting indeed. Braga biggest threat in my opinion comes from that right side. Joao Perreira/ Alan vs. Di Maria/Coentrao is going to be a very interesting battle indeed. Lets not forget that Joao Perreira is also a converted RWB...

I got a feeling its going to be a very exciting game.

I like this kids attitude. Not like alot of other selfish young players. Just wants to play.

Well lets not get it twisted here. He is saying the right thing, but his actions speak louder than his words, and they are coached from a young age how to handle the press. Don't you remember the U - 20. He was the most selfish player on that team..lol

But the thought of Coentrao becoming our out and out LWB is making me all excited...lol

I know what you are saying but he could have simply said it was up to the coach and that would have done. He did not have to say he would play anywhere. I think he has matured. Some players never do. Like you, I am very intrigued by him at the LB. Both as a benefit for Benfica and maybe as a future benefit to our NT.

I love that line-up. I am so excited for this game. Then after the game, I go to Halloween parties where we all know how college girls dress for Halloween. It should be a good day.

GREAT. Well that just about guarantees that there will be some bad calls. Fans of both sides will be pissed. I wonder if the league does this on purpose. Just for the record, I believe that he is from Porto. I dont want anyone saying that it is a Lisbon ref. Anyhow, teams should decide it.

I'll be very suprised if Braga doesn't complain about the ref after the game. Especially if they don't win.

If Coentrão plays as LB and he and Di Maria keep the same level they showed in our last few games how long until Pereira is sent off?

Well I don't think you are giving Perreira enough credit here. I think hes one of the best RB in Portugal, and if we weren't so deep at that position, he would have gotten a callup to the Nacional team.

Hes technical, a good crosser of the ball, and runs lots. With that said, he will probably be pressed trying to keep track of both Coentrao and Di Maria. But like I stated, it will be an interesting matchup, Alan/Perreira vs. DiMaria/Coentrao....

RTPi just said that Shaffer has returned from injury is on the "lista de convocados". Wonder if that signifies he will be the LB for that match. Only reason Coentrao trained as a LB was because Cesar Peixoto is still hurt and Shaffer was also until he was declared healthy and able to play today.

I believe RPT is 816, and SPTTV is 817.

    As for the game:

Should be interesting, but I think this is where the men will finally seperate themselves from the boys. This'll end up either 1-1 or 2-1 to Benfica. If Braga manages to somehow win, well then I think we'll finally see a winner outside the top three for the first time since Boavista did it.

It wasn't a comment on his skills, it's just that he has a short fuse and players like Di Maria and Coentrão can drive most defenders mad.

Thats a good point, he does get frustrated easily. I forgot to take that into account.
