    From Ryan Suarez bio:

… has a degree in Child Development with a focus on Preschool Management…would like to take over his family's business of Only Love Day Care Centers when his soccer career is over…

    (I know there's a joke in there somewhere) ;)

I don't want any player on my team that wears a hairband.

If Totti wants to come to Spartan, we can make an exception for him. Ryan Suarez is no Totti.

Now if Steve Jolley was on the waiver list that would definately be worth a look.

well, first time we gave up three goals, but now we have califf and robinson clicking in the back, We also scored three, so that was no kudos to Suarez.

2nd time we got robbed by a blind linesman on a certain winner from Dero. And Suarez was awful in that game. Honestly, Chivas'd be better off picking up Jose Corro than having Suarez on the team, he did more for them defensively, he actually managed to stop a goal.

I've met Totti and thought he was a jerk. He does like to visit Monterey and go shopping here.

How about this off of goal.com?
    MLS: MetroStars Snag Suarez
    6/29/2005 11:16:00 PM
Ryan Suarez, released earlier this week by Chivas USA, has been picked up by the MetroStars sources close to Goal.com confirm.
The one-time US international had a public spat with Chivas coach Hans Westerhof when the Dutchman subbed the emotional defender out of Saturday's league match before a half hour had passed.

The move to sign Suarez could quell rumors linking FC Dallas defender Steve Jolley with a return to the Meadowlands.

If this is true, then the Metrostars are really desperate.

    It's true.

SECAUCUS, NJ (Wednesday, June 29, 2005) – The MetroStars announced today that they have acquired defender Ryan Suárez off waivers. Suárez, 27, was waived by CD Chivas USA on Monday, June 27, 2005.

“Ryan Suarez is one of the most colorful, passionate and entertaining players in MLS,” said MetroStars President and General Manager Alexi Lalas. “Love him or hate him, he's a personality that can't be ignored. As far as I'm concerned, we just stole the best part of Chivas USA.”
