...mother[bleep]ing twat. God forbid that Convey-pushing, time-wasting-on-a-throw-in, Joe-Millionaire-looking jackass should ever play for the national side. Jarvi let him know what a punk he was, and Suarez's response was "That's whay I'm getting paid, and you're paying to see me"...typical witless athlete response, especially when he knows he's in the wrong.

Here's a song for him, as promised to Jarvi:
(To the tune of "If You're Happy And You Know It")
"You'll never get a cap for being a punk,
No, you'll never get a cap for being a punk,
    You're an ugly mother[bleep]er
And you suck at playing soccer,
No, you'll never get a cap for being a punk"

The rhyme's imperfect, but you get the idea.

i dont think "punk" is the right word.
    Try this
"You'll never get a cap for being a prick,
No, you'll never get a cap for being a prick,
    You're an ugly mother[bleep]er
And you suck at playing soccer,
No, you'll never get a cap for being a prick"

Yea, I was going to yell at "unfrozen caveman suarez" going into the tunnel at halftime, but DJ Countess walk by and said "Good game guys!" to our section. This startled me enough to let Suarez get by without getting a piece of my mind.

Now you know "Ham" from Dallas is show up in this thread and cry about Bobby Convey playing left back for the national team at the expense of such magnificent defenders as Paul Broome and Ryan "Boy-Band Facial Hair" Suarez.

    ;)

I really watched Suarez during the game sat night and was disappointed in his performance and his constant whining to the refs-he show his S. American pedigree with his temprement. I would have expected a guy with a shot to be a usmnt player to offer more than a few clearances. Correct me if I am wrong but was he not the player to drag down Santino in the box(Jesse whatever his name is right there with Noel Kenney as one of the poorest MLS refs-he plain sugged horrible was he asleep?). Ryan has a lot to prove before Bruce will call him up to start-I don't even remember him pushing the ball up the right flank once(well Dallas by design or inferiority hardly possesed the ball in DCU's half at all).

No, that was Jason "I'm no international" Kreis.

Yeah, even though we gave him hell, Countess gave us props...for giving him hell. He's a pretty class guy. Even so, I was determined to get a piece of Suarez's ass.The only way I'd pay to see him is if he were being executed on pay-per-view. We don't need trash like that in the league.

Oh, and thanks for correcting the song, Sachin. That sounds a lot more appropriate. :D

It was actually Kreis that dragged Tino down for the PK that shoulda been. Suarez is still a prick though.

Speaking of songs and chants, do you guys have a set of songs and chants, or is it spontaneous?

Watching Q1 and Suarez go at it all night was like Battle Of The White Trash All-Stars.

Sorta both. We have some standard DC United chants, but sometimes we'll come up with stuff on the fly. I don't know who started it, but there was an excellent one for Dallas' keeper:

    "Who's your daddy, Countess?
    Who's your daddy, Countess?
    Laaa-aaaa Norte!
    Laaa-aaaa Norte!"

I think we should amend that to include every keeper in the league, and for Keller when Spurs come here.

    What about Chris Carrieri?

Also, not to add a little reason to this venom-fest, but Suarez is a college graduate. He's currenlty working on his masters. Not exactly your typical 'witless' athlete. Nor is he a hack. See: Kovalenko, Dema; or Nelsen, Ryan; or one Stoichkov, Hristo.

I'm not even going to comment on DC fans complaining about someone else constantly bitching to the referee. You should really keep that up. That's just too funny.

You almost made sense until you included Ryan Nelsen in your list of examples of 'Hack'.

Normally, this is the part where I tell your kind to go to hell and quit trolling, but I feel like actually arguing before I flame. So here goes:

First off, I don't give a damn if Joe Millionaire's clone graduated college or is working on his master's. Just because he has some piece of paper that makes him officially smart doesn't mean he's not a prick.

Secondly, as for bitching to referees, your boy Encino Man should've been red-carded for pushing Convey to the ground when he was trying to get up. There was absolutely no call for that.

Thirdly, Dema has yet to "hack" anyone this season. Hristo's incident was purely accidental, although I wish he would've broken a few legs against your lot, Pretty Boy Suarez being the main victim. And Nelly plays a little something called "proper defense"...I wouldn't expect you to know about that.

And speaking of "reason", is there a reason your squad plays on a friggin' gridiron in MAY?!? They won't let y'all remove the purdy purple paint from the end zones?

All that being said, go to hell. :D

He's a ***************ing punk and a hack. That was evident saturday night. Previously, I'd never seen him play live and had a degree of regard for him. He lacked skill, he was dirty and he whined like a cat in heat.

The notion that fans of any team that simultaneously employed FIFA Fair Play Winners Ted Eck, Richard Farrer, and Eric Dade could so gratuitously throw around the words "hack" and "thug" is preposterous.
