In case you missed it Ryan Suarez sent us another 'Inside Stuff' for 3rd Degree just before the KC game. We aso have a new Top Ten and a quick report from the Burn Reserve game. We are hoping to have a more typical in depth report later today. http://www.3rddegree.net/
It is perhaps a bit silly to mention playoffs now, but in my top ten this week 'Top Ten reasons the sky is not falling' http://www.3rddegree.net/top_ten/index.htm I put... 1 point - as in one point out of playoffs. But I have been corrected by the Burn front office. I totally forgot that the new playoff system is by conference. So as of today the Burn would be in the playoffs. All they have to do is stay ahead of Colorado...
"Keepers don't get good until 40"? So does that mean David Seaman's going to regain his form when he turns 40 later this year?
Clearly that was an exaggeration. I am sure you know that keepers peak later then field players. The point still holds that DJ is very young and will get better for many years to come. I am also sure you were trying to be funny and knew all of the above.
You would think that shouldn't be too difficult, but we have no home field advantage anymore - in fact, I would argue that our home mojo is working against us. If we can't beat DC at home on May 31 - I have no idea what I will do.
Seems like some of the Burn players may be thinking the same way: "I must reiterate that the field turf is really difficult to play on, especially for our team which is known to be one of the better teams in maintaining possession of the ball. I know we have two more years on this field. I can only hope we become one of the better road teams in the near future." -- Ryan Suarez' "Inside Stuff" http://www.3rddegree.net/comment/inside/index.htm
