Malone starting against Glabdach in a friendly. Not sure if Scally is playing - haven't seen yet.

Malone has moved and could use a thread title update:

Malone played very well in a 0-0 draw, which is probably a little disappointing as they had the run of play and had a penalty saved. He's pretty dominant in the air and is already clearly an on-field leader as most of this team are babies. However, they seem geared up to go for the promotion battle, and their youngsters look good enough that if they improve over the course of the year, it's possible. I assume Ryan is excited to be back anchoring a defensive line after spending much of last year as a late game striker sub for Ingolstadt, but I'd be curious to find out.

Malone starts a 1-0 loss to Ulm. No goals yet for the club, which has been the problem so far.

Malone starting again, against Havelse. Down 1-0 again, still goalless on the season as a squad. He's #16 in the picture.

Strong 2-1 comeback win with Malone going the whole way at the center of the backline, picking up a yellow along the way. Great second half, apparently.

Malone subs on in the 69th minute of a 2-2 draw with Rot-Weiss Essen. With seven points from their last three, they've gotten themselves to a somewhat safe spot.

Malone with a very strong sub appearance against Waldhof Mannheim. Came on down 2-0 in the 72nd minute. Defensively very strong, with good anticipation, as he played RCB. In the later minutes, played "extra #9." Took a long shot that was headed for the top corner before taking an unlucky deflection off a defender, and played a perfect lefty cross that hit his backup #9 in the thigh, but that was one of two comically bad first touches that cost Erzgebirge Aue golden chances within about 60 seconds (Bornschein is the offending striker's name). Once he stopped playing defense, the opposition took turns missing an empty net, once from within three yards.

No Boyd for Waldhof Mannheim, because who needs him when you're up 2-0.

Malone returns to the starting lineup against Hoffenheim II. Gets an early yellow and Erzgebirge concede early. They're in the relegation playoff spot.
