Hey Just an FYI, the annual 'Make It Happen' 5K Run/Walk" is Sunday, April 10th at Byrd Park in Richmond, VA. Registration begins at 12:00 noon and the run begins at 1:00pm. Early registration discount - registration fees will increase on April 1st so if you want to save some $ sign up soon. Sign up is here (or you can just make a donation and "sleep in"). The race is a fundraiser for the Nicole Megaloudis Foundation (as you may recall she was Thomas Rongen's stepdaughter and a good friend of Eski). Gail Rongen and Louise Moreno are very tight. Bumping this old thread: They moved the race this year I think. Last year (2012) it was in Byrd Park which is my neighborhood, but now it's out in the far west en at Deep Run park, which might make it not doable for me. Is anybody planning on registering this year?
