Very good news. I was dreading the speculation during the next winter transfer window if he didn't re-sign soon. I was afraid the Irish fellows were going to kill it - supposedly, they had some objections to an extension. Strange, if you ask me...
Sounds like Ruud stood firmly in SAFs corner and refused to sign an extension until SAFs had gone through. So as well as committing himself to us, he also helped to secure our manager. Top man!
