Just went in to the FIFA ticket office in SPB and they let me put my France v Uruguay ticket up for resale, despite the game being less than 3 days away.

I called FIFA earlier and they didn't let me do it, so worthwhile going in to the ticket centre if anyone is struggling to sell tickets.

Also, my cat 2 ticket will now be available on the FIFA website, someone please purchase it

 

Press have been quoting quite reasonable prices for flights and larger planes on the routes would make quite a difference. Also various routes such as via Turkey. Had a quick look on Skyscanner (Edinburgh firm!) and there is a surprising variety of routes and carriers to Samara. Helsinki isn't a surprise but even Lisbon is a viable option. Not very pricey either. It is definitely doable even booking now. I've no idea how many are taking up the opportunity as you cannot trust press figures but some are.

 

Strange, I had a friend in Nizhny who was just told no.

 

The fact there are loads of tickets available shows there will be plenty available come SFs. People say it's hard to get to the England game but it's not hard for the people who live there and they aint interested in paying those exorbitant prices.

 

Just checked Skscanner and there is 1 flight for £404 the rest are all 700 plus. And that's from London, from elsewhere more expensive.
Then you have Hotel costs if you can find one. Ticket prices again if you can find one.
OK if you have a few quid but very expensive for those not too rich ;-)

Don't get me wrong I do believe many will make the journey, just not enough to affect the ticket availability when Russia go out (And they will).
