Russia 2018: Ticket Thread (sales at face-value ONLY)

I would like to pay with 2 credit cards. Would it be possible to buy tickets to one match. Checkout, pay with a card. Then go back on que and choose another game, check out and use a different card? Is that possible?

 

In theory I think that's possible. In practice it's hard to get into the ticketing site before the tickets are all sold. By the time you get in the first time, buy your tickets, get out then get back in there would be nothing but possibly low demand games left. I'd sort out your payment arrangement so you get everything done first time in - if you're lucky enough to get in while the tickets you want are still there.

I tried accessing my ticket account but it is now in the "frozen blackout" prior to FCFS. Along the message it says that the account will be re-opened in 2 days, 14 hrs and 11 minutes. That would put it at 4AM Tuesday morning (Central Time US, once accounting for the start of Daylight Savings time change later tonight). However, there is also another statement that says that "The event will start at 10:00 AM on 3/13" (see the attached screen shot).

So to clarify, the FCFS sale will start at 12:00 Moscow time, which will be 09:00 UTC, which will be 04:00 C DST. So what is the "10:00" event start time? Is that when the accounts will be unfrozen (the message says the accounts will be frozen up until 12H Moscow)? Is that when we can get on the queue? In my experience with many World Cups the time to get on queue starts right at 12:00:00, so I do not want to lose any seconds trying to open my account! I already was messed up by the glitch of applying to 7 games in the first phase and being told "I had reached the maxiumum" even though many of my games were "Unsuccessful"

 

10am is Central Europe Time. Not sure why it is there on your screen though!

 

Fifa is located in Switzerland, Europe... guess that is why they want the Central European Time stamp on.

 

Obviously, but the particular poster I was talking to is in USA. I always just assumed it would be localised for wherever a person was viewing it from (hence the discussion). All that matters is that they are aware of what time they have to be on the computer then this is okay I guess

Well, fcfs is starting soon and I don't even know if I want to get more tickets because the accommodation is ridiculously pricy. It shouldn't be like this

I want to buy the ticket match 25 : BRA VS CRC ; Cat 1. What is the chance of this ticket in FCFS and who have the trick please tell me

Lots of green! However, day light saving time in US has moved the time to 2:00am here in California. Has anyone put together a guide on how to get in the Q with a good chance at landing tickets?

How early should we log into the site? etc...
