What does that mean? The US must win this game to win Group B (and probably avoid Mexico until the final). A tie won't do, ya hear? What I'm tryna say is... THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT USMNT MATCH EVER! What's a poor Gregg Berhalter to do? Trot out the 3-4-2-1 or revert to the 4-3-3? Start Dike? Keep Jackson Yueill as far away from the pitch as possible? Who cares? Well, I do... 'CAUSE GYA$$$$I WILL GOAL THE DAMN BALL! Put him in, coach! PROGRAMMING NOTE: This poll will count towards the Grouchy™ Point Cup, as will all Gold Cup polls (probably only US games and the final). Enjoy the mayhem.
Fun fact: Canada is not known for its rum. This fact will not stop RUM TOUR 2021. Get in the Winnebago, ya hosers.
With both teams already advancing, I expect conservative, "don't get hurt" gameplays. Canada may come out strong, trying to prove something early before settling back. US passes it back their GK 15+ times... but nets one in a set piece.
Bump, eh? IT'S, LIKE, GAMEDAY, YOU HOSERS! CRACK OPEN A MOOSEHEAD FROM THE TWO-FOUR IN THE FRIDGE, ADD TO YOUR MOLSON MUSCLE, SIT ON YOUR CHESTERFIELD, SNACK ON SOMETHING FROM TIMMIES, AND TUNE IN! SHE'S GONNA BE A GOOD MATCH! GIVE'R, YOU YANKS!!!
@KCbus, @Pauncho, @et al I try to close the poll about an hour before game time. But, if you post your vote in the thread before kick, I'll count it.
Zardes, Etienne, and Fraser all start. Etienne with the assist on Haiti's first goal. Zardes subbed off at 70 min.
Very understandable. But if you've been reading a while you know who's fangs are real and who is more bark than bite.
Meh. If you post something and get flamed (which doesn’t happen all that often), people will have forgotten about it in a week or two, if not sooner. Pretty much everybody on here has been ripped at one point or another. Come join the club!
