Re: Klinsmann tipped for leading role in LA Yallop makes this roster look sorrier than it really is. You would think that we might have practiced corner kicks in anticipation of Beckham, but it looks like just the opposite. We also have had continuous trouble marking opponents on corners as well. I dont think this would last with Klinsmann. With his great experience, I think Klinsmann would also help with the fundamentals of ball control and striking.
I'm not sure when it starts, either. But I definitely hope that MLS can schedule around international dates in the future. The more SSS's the better for that, but I understand scheduling is a nightmare. Your ideas were still good in the original post. I HOPE we're better next year!
Re: Klinsmann tipped for leading role in LA You would think they would practice trapping and passing, or when you should take a shot when you're inside the 18, or clearing the ball out of the back. You'd think they would practice period.
Re: Klinsmann tipped for leading role in LA Yes, fundamentals are truly lacking with Yallop. Klinsmann would have too much pride to let this kind of stuff continue.
Sorry if this was posted already...didn't see it in the last few pages. Rumor is picking up steam: http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/soccer
