Check out the thread in the Washington line about the war between Hucles and Little, and the red card for Wambach. I think that WUSA refs really need some consistency. Things got more than a bit out of hand. Did see the whole game (I think Phats did), but the clips show that tempers got pretty high. One person has commented that aggressive forwards (i.e. Hooper) are getting unfairly carded when often its the defender who ought to get the call.
Our girls are going to loose their thug reputation if other teams have wrestling in the middle of their games. We are falling down on the job when other teams get two red cards in one game and we can only manage two so far throughout the whole season. What has happened to our fouling, rough and tough team that other games can become more physical than the ones we play in? Now I'm expecting Nonen to get someone in a head lock next time we play, preferably someone who whines too much. She's a beast, how comes she's never tried to take someone out like the Hucles/Little show this weekend? P.S.- just kidding, no matter how many wrestling matches other teams have we will never loose our thug reputation. The BEAT rock!
