Odds bodkins! No sooner have we played one match than another is upon us. Time to put the euphoria of canning the chavs behind us and look at the next match. So we travel to Kazan, about an 11-hour round trip. One match at a time and all that but we do need to husband our playing resources. Clyne and Moreno need spelling but do we have the players to do that?

Toure seems out injured but Lovren is fit and available. No word on Sturridge, yet. Bogdan and Fulton as goalies would suit me. In midfield, given how he stank the place on Saturday, I'd be tempted to play Milner and get him to recover some form. I'd also have played Teixeira but in our infinite wisdom it seems we didn't register him for this tournament. But Brannagan, Chrivella, Randall, Rossiter and Sinclair are available as is, of course, Allen.

The next game is always the most difficult.

I'll be home in time for this one. My TV has been hit and miss whilst on the road. It was great to find the match on this TV yesterday.

It's going to be an interesting one. Can we carry the momentum. Can we find the goal again. Philipe seemed pretty much in control when he picked his spots yesterday. In previous games he seemed desperate to score and forced shots over or wide. Will "One Goal Benteke" get another? :)

We'll find out soon enough. Don't forget..............

Need to win most likely so we aren't struggling the last 2 games.

It will be. He seems to give the guys confidence and will give a chance to the ones who train well. He is still learning about the players and what they can do.
He called Milner the consummate player, but when the consummate player wasn't consummating, he switched him out. :)
Going to be an interesting ride.

It's a valid question. Granted he isn't doing the running/pressing of a midfielder/forward/backs - but he does probably need/deserve a rest. Downside to Gomez's injury.

he needs one, but i'd like to keep sakho fresher due to his muscular injury propensity.

we could put illori in there, but he'll be at home in birmingham.

"we've almost got too many centerbacks!" they said in june.

Also interesting to see Lovren come in late - as a midfielder...

Because he's not trusted at the back but can at least take up space in the middle of the park. Like a traffic cone.

I'm surprised Ibe is not starting more often. He should def be in this line up.

A win going into the sion game is important.

They do, but we can only afford to rest one at a time at the moment. That really needs to be addressed in January. Clyne's played every minute of every game under Klopp, so he should get to sit this one out, with Randall coming in. Coutinho looked like he was on his knees towards the end of the Chelsea game, so he probably shouldn't start either. Agree with Lovren for Sakho. Ibe should definitely start.

I'll be on the road today. Maybe I can pick up a replay or catch it on the next "Liverpool TV show".
I'll let my wife drive at that time and pick up your comments on my phone.

" wow, that was dumb" " IBE!!!!" " Shite!!!"

Then I'll google up the match report and score after the match...:)

So you can try Twitter as well. The LFC feed is quick and doesn't have our editorial bias
