http://www.rojadirecta.me/goto/rivosport.net/ch9.html he's currently playing right mid in a 3 man line behind a lone striker. 0-0 almost the end of the first half.
decent chances for both sides. rubio had one nice cross of note. 0-0 end of the first. there were a few moments where RR was wide open on his side but his teammates either didn't or couldn't find him. hopefully he'll get more involved in the second half.
Challenging for a header... http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/n...-meijers-of-ado-den-haag-news-photo/469475930 It's odd, Utrecht seem not to win when RR starts (not saying it's down to him, just the way things have fallen.) Also, RR assist/goal production has dipped since the strong end to last Dec. Be nice to see him get a few more numbers to cap a very tidy little first season.
The first half was mostly an exercise in pressing and defensive rotations. Utrecht created little and ADO, while having more of the ball, wasn't much better. Rubio had that good third man run and cross that got cut out and an inventive pass from the end line to feet when everyone else thought he was going to have to take a couple more touches to set himself for a cross. RR switched into the 10 spot late.
