Pretty interesting to follow what's going on at Manchester United.

What's everyone's thoughts on Ruben so far?

I know the club is an absolute mess and is rotten to the core, but...there are so many questions..

I think it was a big mistake for him to go there.

Did he just follow the $$?
Why are United playing worse under him?
    Is he over-rated?
Will he be given time to develop a team and sign new players to suits his style?
    Is he too stubborn?
They don't have $ to spend, so why did he go there? He is bound to fail without certain players that can play his style.

    Thoughts?

(and can we please not troll each other, leave the club trolling out please)

He inherited a shit team and is trying to make them play his style. Same shit happened at Sporting his first season.

Don't think he cares about the money. But he was pretty clearly hating being at Sporting. I think he went there for the same reason he went to Sporting. It's an insane, tiny, chance to turn around a club in shambles and make a name for himself. Worked once...

If he gets support from the board and gets complete control on everything, like he had at Sporting, I'm sure he'll be fine there eventually

I hope he gets the support but the club is losing money fast. They’re cutting costs.

I think he will only get next season the improve the team unfortunately.

Crazy how far down the table they are. They're lucky relegation contenders are doing so poorly this year otherwise they'd be in trouble.

Seems like most pundits have turned on Amorim.

He is doing a terrible job IMO but he also doesn't have much to work with. I do hope he gets a full season to see what he can do with this shit team.
Probably needs 5 seasons before he can get consistent top 4 finishes. Needs to wait for all the bums to run out their contracts.

I hope he sinks further into the ground. This spineless, pathetic Rabolho gets no pity party from me.

It worked out pretty well. Got money for him, and still won the league in the end

It’s hard to see him becoming a top European coach. I just think his formation is too limiting. It really limits you in which players you can buy. The fact it’s the only formation he plays is what makes it worse. The inter coach at least changes it up if game isn’t going well

This dude must be mentally challenged. Has like 5 wins in one year and still does not change formation
