Are you sure that is working??? I think it went down on AMC4 2 days ago. According to RTP's website, it is now on: Galaxy 19 – (Banda Ku, DIGITAL) Cobertura: América do Norte, América Central e Hawai Transponder:20 Posição Orbital: 97º Oeste Frequência: 12 059,5 MHz Polarização: Horizontal FEC: ¾ Symbol Rate: 22.000 kSymbols/s SID:1 PMT:1001 PID Vídeo: 2001 PID Áudio: 3001 PID Áudio RDPi Rádio: 4001
Yup, AMC4 is down. I hadn't realized as my 39" dish has not been re-aligned in quite some time. Satellite installers are going to have a field day. That reminds me, I need a motor and an installer - anyone know how to set one up and not afraid of heights?! PM me...
Just got off the roof, god damn it's hot as hell up there. Anyhow, to anybody who needs to reposition it: if your sat is pointed at AMC4 at the moment, then it only needs a slight nudge to the left assuming you are standing directly behind the satellite. http://www.dishpointer.com/ is your friend in times like this. ' Lyngsat says 10260 for the frequency rather then 10259, but I don't think it makes much of a difference.
How do i get Galaxy 19 on my digital box i have a BEC DB 6600+ Free to Air Digital and i only have Galaxy 11? Thank You, Joe j241@verizon.net
Assuming your dish is pointed towards G19.. You can manually add a new satellite into your box in the setup menu, but it's not really necessary. All boxes have a "Add TP" or "Edit TP" option in the setup for whatever Sat you are using. You can add a new TP to your Galaxy 11 list and it would still work, so it's up to you. So all you have to go is to edit the transponder list for your current selected satellite and enter 12060 for the frequency and horizontal for the polarity and then rescan. Hope this helps. Good luck.
