Wow, RSL showed some great heart... and even more, they tried to attack the whole game, and that is what wins it for them! Bring on Houston (NYRB) dont have a shot.

RSL is playing the best soccer in the history of the club. Tonight's game was a great display of attacking, aggressive soccer. No, we did not finish all of our chances, but we did what needed to be done.

Congrats to everyone in salt lake on a game well played!

So in other words you really don't want to face the Orange Machine in their confines. I totally feel you but I'm having trouble seeing any team go to Robertson and take them apart.

We have a CORE of solid contributers and that's what makes this team. Robbie Russell looked really good AGAIN.

The best part we have no pressure. The players have had a successful season, we're playing with "house money" now!!!!

No, you don't understand.

I'm a DC United fan who grew up in SLC, so love Utah and very much care about RSL. So I just like the idea of the RedBulls losing to RSL, since I really do dislike the pink cows.

It has nothing to do with Houston. Who gives a shit about them?

Morales was incredible. Borchers was solid as usual but I would also say that Russell stepped up big time. There was a pretty sketchy stretch when Chivas made their changes but RSL eventually adjusted and has started to show consistently that they can finish strong. RSL stock is rising quickly!!!

I'll be crossing my fingers for a NY win tomorrow and its not because I live there.

Does conference finalist have implication for any of the regional tourneys next year?

Wow... I was losing it here... On the second goal I ran around our living room like I was Movsisyan, except, well, I'm a middle aged pudgy guy, so it was kinda pathetic: hence the shocked giggling from DW.

Oh, happy things will be squelched by those who were saying this season was a failure and Kries should be fired, those who can't see the silver lining because their eyes are filled with clouds.

Meanwhile, I'm celebrating, maybe the only RSL fan in the Appalachians!

to your question? I don't think so. I think our league placing gets us out of the "play in" for the USOC... and if we can make it to the Cup final then we get a SuperLiga berth (mixed blessing).

I'm not sure what qualifies for Concacaf Champs league.

Awsome game. Smart subs by Kries. We really played 100%.
One downer is Espy isn't ready for significant game time yet. He look very rusty and a little slow. hopefully with a week of practice he can get into better form.
