Yes. Sorry. I tried to do my best. I didn't have a cord plugged in right. I can try and fix it again but the next episode is coming soon. It sucks because it is a really good episode.
I had the same issue. It sounded like they were in another room from me in a house having a private conversation.
Really sorry. Had a cord not in place and it was the camera mic and not our microphones. Sucks, because it was a really fun and funny episode. Amateurs still.
Tyler Wolff loaned to Sacramento for the rest of the season, which makes sense IMO. He's way down the depth chart and needs better than Monarch games. No minutes for us in 2026.
That great pre season really paying off for him. All of a sudden the RSL roster was tough to break into for him. Hope it works out.
Tyler Wolff scores five minutes into his debut game for Sacramento, a 4-0 win for the Republic over Spokane; Ajago with an assist.
So 10 games in I just wanted to just see kind how RSL is stacking up based on the standings of the opponents. VS Top-Half Teams: 1W-0D-2L, 2 to 4 Vancouver 0-1 Sounders 2-1 Miami 0-2 VS Bottom-Half Teams: 5W-1D-1L, 16 to 10 Atlanta 3-2 Austin 2-1 SD 2-2 SKC 3-1 SD 4-2 Galaxy 0-2 Timbers 2-0 I was really worried about the strength of schedule going into this season but it has turned out to be kind of the opposite of what I expected. 3 of the next 4 before the break are “top-half” teams, so I think we will really have a good idea of where the team is at .
I didn't have RSL getting close to earning any points until like game 5 against KC. Like most folks, I was overestimating the teams in front of them on the schedule. The games left before the WC break are: RSL currently in 6th place in the west Sat. May 9 at FCD currently 7th place Wed. May 13 Houston currently 8th place Sat. May 16 Rapids currently 9th place Sat. May 23 at Minnesota currently 5th place It will be a battle to see who takes over the middle of the table in the West.
I think you’re seeing various philosophies on how to handle a season essentially cut in half with a significant gap in the middle to make changes. Some clubs are using the first half to go out and attack (see San Jose or Nashville) others are balancing needs (LaFC, Miami) and others just said let’s see what we can change for half two in the summer (a lot of clubs) I also think the 2027 sprint season is making clubs rethink how to sign contracts
So a question that I am curious to hear your answers; Who is the worst ever player for RSL? My nominations: Jean-Martial Kipré Matt Van Oekel Richie Kotschau Justin Portillo (These are based on just their time on the field at RSL alone, Not their career. Some of my guys I picked because they got sent off, had multiple yellows and never scored or assisted according to the internet haha)
Nick Besagno. And I say that not only for his contributions (he had 8 total appearances for RSL), but also for what was lost because he was on the team. That draft had several players who had long and successful careers: Brad Guzan, Michael Parkhurst, Drew Moor, Chad Barrett. RSL drafted a kid who flamed out faster than a bottle rocket. Heck, that whole draft set the team up for failure.
Rachid El Khalifi. That's a throwback. I remember there being some real excitement on this board when he was announced. Our first dutch player and a real winger. Had some good highlight reels too. Then he never fit into the diamond formation and had very few appearances. I disagree with Sebastian Jaime. Any player that is willing to de-pants a player during a goal celebration doesn't belong on the worst player list. He belongs on the all-time best list.
Luis Gil had 2-3 solid years with us. At least one when he was learning and growing, then a cog on the MLS Cup-losing team in 2013. That he couldn't take the next step shouldn't put him on the :all-time worst" list.
Different take on the question: Christian "Chicho" Arango... The second half of that 17 goal season was easily the most infuriating stretch for me as a fan... He will always be at the front of my list of least favorite players... Also, this question is hard because certainly RSL signed players that never saw a minute on the pitch but are thus forgotten. They are likely the worst soccer players. What we are really all answering is who's performances was furthest from expectations.
Hard to not vote for the guy who probably harassed another RSL employee, no matter how many goals he scored
