RSL trying to get into the black for this season with the stroke of luck that is the insurance claim.

Also, with the costs of concessions 17k is like a six pack of diet coke so who's to know?

Two DPs and four U22 Initiative players, with only 1/6 performing well is where we need the upgrades to the roster.

Using 13 international slots for three players performing well is also stunningly bad.

It is absolutely shocking how badly we have been using our roster. I give Elliot Fall a pass because our ownership situation was absolutely dire. He got us through the 2nd worst stretch in club history. Granted, he may not have been the guy to get us out of it, but I’ll always appreciate that he spent almost 2decades of his life here and fell on his sword for RSL.

Nobody bats 1.000, and I don’t think it is totally RSL’s fault that Diogo hasn’t panned out, but it is criminal that of the 4 U22 slots, only 1 has panned out. We’ve been using them as super-homegrown slots instead of baby DPs, which is just wrong.

It says 13, but with 4 asterisks. On other teams, that meant they don't count towards the slots used. Doesn't seem consistent across the board though.

But with the age and salary restrictions on U22 players, I'm not sure they can be baby DPs. Gomez was an ideal example, but you have to be rotating them through, they can't all be on the same development cycle. I'm fine with paying high performing HGs with U-22 slots, but only if you can't find the right U-22. There's also no reason not to pay them max money either, you just have to hope they pan out. Can't go bargain shopping either, either pay a few million to get one or don't waste the slot. Piol comes to mind.
I'd love to hear Kurt explain why Piol can't be a Monarchs signing first and then bring him up if he develops. Look at what Charlotte did with their young 9. That's another way the Millers can invest in the club, have the Monarchs start spending.

Makes inappropriate gesture to fans after scoring tying goal, has goal called back for offside.

I'm wondering what the inappropriate gesture was and who it was aimed at.

They got fined for twerking? That's weird. Are they now going to fine guys that do the bow and arrow or machine gun celebrations as well?
