I think we likely get rid of one of Palacio, Ruiz, or Ojeda. Unless a big offer comes in for Eneli. After the spitting, I want Vera out. Look for a good upgrade there. We have too many RBs, and no real out and out starter. I feel like we won't do anything there unless we move at least one of them. I'd like a better keeper, but I can see us not trying to upgrade there.

If Chicho can regain form and Diogo finds a way to fit in, we should be ok on the attacking side. Which I think will look better regardless if we can sort the defensive side of things

Diogo needs to learn how to fight for the ball. He’s way too passive for this league.

Maybe we can get Vancouver to swap him for Ryan Gauld? :D

I'll take Mukhtar. Nashville needs to start over.

I don’t think there has ever been an RSL player go directly to Nashville, and vis-versa.

Actually Mukhtar is who Pablo cited as the trajectory he expects for Diogo. Once he adjusts, the thinking goes, it'll be an awful lot of fun to have him on the team.

I've heard that. I'll take both though. Trade/sell Palacio and go to the 3 DP/3 U22 route.

I certainly get the Eneli love for sure but I think Ojeda is a little better maybe only because he seems to be a little faster and quicker on his feet. They are nice tandem to have in the midfield if you continue to play a style that is complimentary.

Ruiz seems the odd man out at nearly a million dollars a year in salary. Ojeda at 658,000 and Palacio 300+ and Eneli way underpaid at the moment.

You may not see Holt around. He reinjured his hamstring during rehab. Sad.

This is just on what I would do, HOW it would be done is another story. lol

This would be a starting point for me on who I would want on the roster next season.

I know there are contracts and all of that stuff but just the red moving on would be $4 million in salaries to play with. $2 million with Glad and Ruiz if you can find a taker.

This is all just a wish list of changes that I would consider as the GM if RSL had one and starting point for discussion.

Technically, for another couple of months. 2025 is a team option year. I can’t see us exercising it.

Kevin Lambert turns 28 in March and takes up an international slot. That's no kid to just roll with. :)

It's not a big deal, but would love to hear the thought process on his acquisition and why it hasn't worked out. I like the principle (acquiring USL players), but it clearly didn't work out. He was on loan and didn't count towards either roster, I think.

Per the interview with Spence, Pablo says player interviews start today (maybe we'll see player decisions tomorrow afternoon?).
Other things of note: they are looking at reinforcing the backline and up top. Pretty sure that's CB and someone to push Chicho and Julio.

The other 3 seed - Cincinnati - is also out in the first round. Game 3 went to PKs - nine kicks, and they missed 4.
