Didn’t see that point coming with all of the excuses Dunny keeps not talking about and the way the first half went for RSL. That was Orlando’s to give away and they did.
A pretty nervy first half (Holy Schmitt!). Second half showed some glimpse of hope. Draw on the road is hard to complain about.
Sucks not knowing what might have been if Baird gets that pass. Should've lead to the best chance of the night and a possible stolen 3 points. Happy enough with the draw. We should've been out of it by half.

Maybe if BYU churned out soccer players the same way is churns out quarterbacks, there would be, but. nope, not that I can think of. As for women's soccer, I think there could be a few LDS players, but none on the Royals roster as far as I know.
Eventually Tate Schmitt will look like he belongs on an MLS field, right? He's yet to do anything, in any of his performances, to look like he's not way out of his depth. I was pleased with the halftime adjustments and the improved play that came with the subs that were made.
If you're Vasquez, illoski, Chang, Garcia, or Martinez I wonder how confident you're feeling that you couldn't get a start over Schmitt or Herrera.
His passes last night were terrible. They had no pace. I’m willing to blame the soggy pitch for that right now. I need to see him more to get a good read....However, I’m not sure I want to see him as a starter. He didn’t otherwise have MLS level touch on the ball. Literally every time he got the ball I thought “Turnover coming up”.
I was a few years older than Jake - dude was a hell of a player. He had nagging injuries that prevented him from reaching his top level, unfortunately.
I follower her on Instagram and she’s a pretty active member from the looks of things she posts. I should note I’m a big BYU Women’s soccer fan and watch them every season. Last season being pretty damn impressive almost making it to the final 4.
