First batch of TV fixtures released by The Football League http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/TVGamesDetail/0,,10794,00.html We feature 3 times: These matches should end up on beIN Sport over here in the US. Who have introduced a streaming service as well (though that's only open to channel subscribers on a couple platforms - could improve though and offer more than just the UK televised matches from The Championship). http://www.beinsport.tv/
I let my QPR World subscription expire last season because every game was available on TV. Looks like it's time to renew!
We'll also see what BBC London has planned for this season. A few years ago they streamed a ton of our Championship winning campaign (free, without blocking outside the UK). So much more streaming video available legally and illegally nowadays too. An hour free and a good internet connection on Saturday evening means Football League highlights on the BBC -- http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00mfmt9 (Midnight UK, 7pm ET). Can usually find a stream of that after Match of the Day.
The opening match might be on US TV... This is through their streaming service schedule, no confirmation from their main site schedule or DirecTV, etc: http://www.beinsportplay.tv/schedule August 03, 2013 QPR vs Sheffield [sic] Football League Championship 10:00 AM beIN Sport
My guide still does not list it, but an email from Soccer America detailing upcoming soccer on TV says this for Saturday: BeIN SPORT England QPR-SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY (live) 9:30 am. Friendly MONACO-TOTTENHAM (live) 12:25 Trophee des Champions PARIS SG-BORDEAUX (live) 2:40 pm. Will there be a 30 minute pre-game? That doesn't sound right. My guide says "Soccer" for 9:25-11:25, which would not work for our game (10 am eastern kickoff). Hope that changes soon.
First game was on TV and I was traveling last week. This is my first game back to QPR World audio since our Championship-winning season. I want us back up and back on TV, but, at least for today, it's a sentimental return to how I've followed the R's for so many years.
Yeah - kind of bittersweet. I've got the Rs audio on as well, with 4 NBC Prem streams covering my desktop. :-/ At least Cardiff are losing
Not looking to good for TV coverage of our match at Bolton on Saturday. Though it's on Sky in the UK, the League's TV partner in the US (beIN Sport) has not been showing Saturday early kickoffs so far this season. http://www.beinsport.tv/tv-guide The match will probably be streamed via beIN web video service -- however that is only available to subscribers to a few cable/sat companies... http://www.beinsportplay.tv/select-provider There will be plenty of unofficial streaming options though.
Saturday's game is now listed on the beIN schedule for a short delay -- a 9:30 a.m. eastern start. That'll work! http://www.beinsport.tv/tv-guide
I'll sleep in and watch at 9:30! Wasn't looking forward to getting up at 7 a.m. on a Saturday, anyway!
Ha! Understood. My guy will probably be up, but this will give me time to take him on a donut run before settling in for the QPR game.
I wish beIN could get some consistency with their scheduling so we could plan a Saturday morning pub breakfast... Maybe we'll get a televised 10am kickoff again soon.
Once again not the ideal coverage for the TV match this weekend... Leeds v QPR Saturday, 7:15am LIVE beIN Sport Play (streaming) Condensed version: 2pm beIN Sport I'll be opting for the dodgy stream route again.
There is no game tomorrow. International games are today and Tuesday. The next game is next Saturday, 9/14.
Ha! Next match is Brum a week from tomorrow. Not likely to be on beIN Sport, but you never know. Seriously, you never really know with beIN because they're terrible at scheduling.
Looks like this weekend's international distribution match (for the 3pm UK kickoffs) is Forest-Barnsley. Can usually tell here -- http://www.en.aljazeerasport.tv/Schedule
