Ok I'll start off by saying Shurik you can delete my posts in your thread.

OK onto the rumors I'll start with CSKA.

CSKA are supposedly interested in buying the Zenit trio - Kerza, Arshavin, and Beestrov. They are also getting rid of Ignasevich, Semak, and 3 others who are all Russians. (they are keeping Kirichenko)

As for Lokomotiv Semine released a list of players being sold, all from the second team including players like Wagner, and Nigmatulin. They have also been said that they are purchasing one of the best Greeks who currently plays for Bremen, along with a few others.

It is said the Semine may be coaching NT next year so that means new coach for Loko (and CSKA, bye bye Gazzaev although he will come nowhere near the NT I hope). In whichever case Dolmatov, the current coach of Shinnik and CSKA will come to coach Loko. This is not necessarily a bad thing because if you all remember 2 years back when CSKA was coached by him they were last place the first 15 games but the last 15 they finished second with the best RPL 15 game streak (14 wins 1 draw), and this was with pre-Love CSKA, so atleast another good coach will come.

This one rumor I've read is most likely false but Romantsev is looking to buy Loskov. False for 2 main reasons - being when Romantsev coached the NT, he never picked Loskov, and that Semine did not say he was going to sell Loskov.

I do agree that Gazza is gone (da-svidenya - loser! :D)

The talk maybe is saying that Semin will leave Loko as manager but will be retained in some other official capacity, like some head of football garb.

With the CSKA job and potentially the Loko one open as well, it is probable a guy like Dolmatoiv would decide to move, and with him, the lure of bringing some of Shinnik's stars as well.

I as a Loko fan would feel heartbroken with Semin leaving, the guy turned the club around singlehandly. I fell, he's got a few years left before he is booted upstairs. He won't go as NT coach, despite Yartsev's fluxuating results.

Loskov to Dinamo? Dima has got more sense than this surely. For me, the close season will see ALOT of transfer activity for the Garbagemen.

Semak and Ignasevitch will NOT go imo. Semak is one of the best players, depsite the fact Gazzaev didn't really use him that well last season. With the money of Abramovich already bringing in the likes of Wagner Love and Ferreya; I can see CSKA breaking the bank once more.

Loko also need to strength well upfront. Dima is the potential star, but we need a constant partner for him - no1 priority (buy Russian this time pls!)

Mark Iuliano of my beloved JUVENTUS is a 2 million pound target of an eastern European team, its either Shakthar Donetsk or CSKA Moscow!

Iuliano is a a very good defender and at 31 he has a few good years left. Strong in the air and in the tackle, Iuliano is a no non-sense, steely defender who will add great strength and experience to either of the teams afformentioned!

    IULIANO set for CSKA

    http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/nov22c.html

    According to channel4/football italia:-

'Russian giants CSKA Moscow have reportedly made a bid for Juventus stopper Mark Iuliano.

CSKA are understood to have offered around £2m for the stopper, 31, who is actually out of contract in the summer.

Iuliano, who rarely features for the Bianconeri, could be tempted by a £1.5m a season contract.

The Turin giants seem to have too many centre-backs in their squad and are keen to offload a few players in January.'

CSKA Moscow not Shakthar Donetsk, i was halfway there!

Its pretty sad that the only two teams who have the money to bring talent from the west is CSKA and Shakhtar who are backed by oligarchs.

To a lesser extent there is Spartak of course. Loko can get by on the generous ministry of railways, but we can never go out and pay a load of money on just one player.

I think it would be nice if the RPL could introduce some form of salary caps or something; despite the likes of Wings stunning teams such as Spartak with their form without spending cash on $6m strikers - it would still be nice to control the level of investement at the clubs.

Well in Ukraine they are introducing a rule which statest that a team can have a maximum of 8 non Ukrainians. As for the Greek that Loko is looking to buy - he is a striker named Angelos Charisteas. Scored a big goal for Greece in euro.

    Catanha is well past it.

Players like Cavenaghi, Love, Ferreya, and the loads of youngs stars at Donetsk like Srna, Aghahowa, Vukic, Matzualem are not past it, far from it.

Teams outside these so called "bigger" teams have to resort to signing foreign players no other side wants anymore.

Wasn't an argument, just a statement of fact. Deal with it.
