How do you think Terek will do this season? I'm always surprised that Kadryov isn't able to spend big like Anzhi.

Did anyone mention the super cup result on the forum? Rubin won 2-0, Bochetti and Dyadun the scorers.

I'm sure he could, but I'm sure is tough to convince players who could play elsewhere that they really want to live in Grozny.

But you'd think he could have the players live I'm moscow and fly in for the games like Anzhi does. I don't think Etoo lives in Machachkala for example.

Parshivlyuk out for a long time with a ligament tear, too bad since I like him.

Terek should copy Anzhi and train in Moscow, though maybe Kadryov isn't as invested in the club as Anzhi is.

Loko 3-2 over Mordovia in the RPL's season opener. Ozdoyev scored and received the season's first red card.

Interesting to see Corluka scored on his debut, and also that Torbinski is still chugging along at Loko...that guy has been there for a while now.

Spartak at Alania should be interesting tomorrow.

    Krylya 1 - 1 Terek
    Zenit 2 - 0 Amkar
    Anji 2 - 1 Kuban

Kuban really unlucky as they controlled the second half and had a good goal disallowed. Krasnodar-Rubin the last game of the round tomorrow.

Is Yakovlev the Ukrainian kid on Spartak? Or did he not pan out?

Yakovlev's Russian, you cna tell by his technical ability where he's from. ;)

Anyway, I can't recall any young Ukrainians playing for Spartak.

Not him then. Maybe like Pavlenko or something like that. They were making a big deal about what nationality he would choose like 3-4 years ago. He was like 20 in their B team at the time prolly
