...Gives new meaning to anchor of the midfield. Ba dun dah. I'll be here all week, please be sure to tip your waitress.
Actually I'm quite busy. But I'll take whatever opportunity I can to bring a smile to people's faces.
Well actually in another thread Sigi says he will be moving to forward, so, yeah. We need a heavy striker joke.
If you post on Big Soccer 350+ days a year about the Columbus Crew you should attend the home games no matter the weather. No offence, Because nothing you post can be taken at face value.
couldn't we have got this guy instead? http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?...&lid=25&title=Van+den+Bergh+signs+for+Wizards
Rozenthal was a up coming star when he took the Chilean national 17 under team to the semifinals of 17 under world cup. He sign with the Rangers of Scotland and injury his knee and never have been the star he was going to be again. I think we is all washed up.
I believe he was set to sign with Dallas, then Kenny Cooper came calling... As part of the deal getting Cooper to Dallas (when the young kid wanted to go if he came back to MLS) the "Burn" had to part ways with this Dutch fella and relinquish his rights to Kansas City who at the time, held the rights in MLS to Cooper. Did that make a damn bit of sense?
some points why KC will be near the top at the end of the year: 1.) Kansas City=knows how to build a team. 2.) Eddie Johnson with Josh Wolff. two US squad forwards 3.) Logic. Something alot of teams are missing. Come on, Ruiz over Johnson? Anybody understand FC Dallas? 4.)This Van Den Bergh looks like he can play. I mean a guy who plays competively in dutch league and goes straight to MLS after that. Can play. Why we are staying where we are: 1.)Rozenthal, ehh. We got him because he has a interesting hair style. is he jewish btw? just interested? doing a poll.
Yep, very well put. It was actually here in the States that he never got the right treatment. He was one of the most promising players in his youth, and I think Rangers were very much happy to have him while he was there. As to him being good at eating, he has always had a tendency to look a little chubby. I don't think that should slow him down, since it's the MLS. I mean players like Ronaldo and Ailton are rather chubby yet they have proved their worth (though I don't consider Rozy to be in their same league). Also, someone please fix the name of this thread, because it's actually spelled Rozental. Iknow the more common spelling includes an "h", but in his case it has no "h." If it's like that in the MLS website, as well, then they've made a mistake. Oh, and someone here asked if he's Jewish, and he in fact is. More interestingly, he is an unsual case for a soccer player in Chile, or Latin America for that matter. Why? well, socially speaking he was from the higher class. In fact, he is the only Chilean player I've known (or maybe one of the two) that spoke English (before leaving Chile). His dad, Lazaro, is a wealthy businessman in Stgo. Anything else, ask me. I am pretty reliable source on this matter
