Wich board is that? Hehe, patriotic you say. Well, that second goal was off-side side, and shouldn't have counted. And because of that goal we had to press for an equaliser, and got counter-attacks against us. It's btw unbelievable that they didn't score on atleast two of them. But as I said, the most fair result would've been a draw.

At Xtratime.org. A draw wouldn't have been unfair, but neither was OB winning, they played well today.
Tough one. I think all three nations are about equally good, and if you include the other Nordic countries, you will see that Finland is a bit behind the other three, while Iceland and especially the Faroe Islands are hopelessly behind. Iceland should be applauded for making so many great players though, since they are a nation of only 250.000 people!! The Danish and Swedish national teams are traditionally slightly better than the Norwegian one, the best Danish and Swedish players usually do slightly better than the Norwegian ones, and the Norwegian club teams usually do slightly better than the Danish and Swedish ones.
UEFA points for the club teams so far this year: http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/data/method3/ccoef2005.html It's been a very bad year for Denmark. The official ranking, based on the club teams performances in Europe over 5 seasons: http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/data/method3/crank2005.html # country 00/01 01/02 02/03 03/04 04/05 rank05 nt05 19 Norway 4.625 3.250 2.700 6.125 3.500 20.200 1/ 4 20 Switzerland 4.375 6.125 5.875 1.875 1.875 20.125 1/ 4 21 Bulgaria 3.000 4.833 4.166 4.166 2.375 18.540 4 22 Croatia 4.375 4.375 2.750 3.625 3.000 18.125 1/ 3 23 Denmark 3.750 4.500 3.250 4.200 1.500 17.200 3 24 Hungary 2.666 1.500 3.166 4.833 3.500 15.665 1/ 3 25 Sweden 4.800 3.833 2.250 1.500 3.000 15.383 4 26 Romania 0.833 2.625 2.166 4.333 4.500 14.457 1/ 3
Semb did a poor job with the national team, we all know that. Since Hareide took over, the results have been very good, with only one loss, which was against Italy, in an even encounter.
it's basicly Rosenborg pushing Norways figures up....behind Rosenberg the best Norwegian team ends up at 2.0, 72 Djurgårdens IF UC 2 2 2 0 4.0 81 Östers IF UC 2 2 0 0 3.0 81 IF Elfsborg UC 2 1 1 0 3.0 104 Hammarby IF UC 2 0 2 0 2.0 as you can see 3 swedish teams top that. One team doesn't make a league good
You forget though, that all those other Norwegian teams were bottom teams this year, and still got as far as or further than the other Scandinavian teams. Last year in Europe: 17 Norway 21.475 ---------------------------------------- CL=Rosenborg BK 42.787 (QR2) CW=Valerengen IF 15.787 UC2=Molde FK 13.787 (QR) UC3=Lyn Oslo 9.787 (QR) 21 Denmark 17.375 ---------------------------------------- CL=FC København 20.687 (QR2) CW=Brøndby IF 21.687 (QR) UC2=FC Nordsjælland 8.687 (QR) UC3=OB Odense 10.687 (QR) FP=Esbjerg fB 8.687 (QR) 22 Sweden 17.241 ---------------------------------------- CL=Djurgårdens IF 11.795 (QR2) UC1=Malmö FF 8.795 (QR) LC=AIK Stockholm 12.795 (QR)
This is also why the Royal League is so great. Now we don't have to worry about all of this anymore. Now we can just see how it goes when the teams meet in the RL, and we will get all the answers.
On what subject? NTs? The latest match between Norway and Sweden, was in January last year, where Norway won 3-0. Our domestic players vs your domestic players. I think that our new NT is as strong as Sweden and Denmark. Hareide have whipped things around for us.
Djurgården 4th Hammarby 6th Elfsborg 9th Öster 5th (superettan) no exactly top teams From that stat it's quite obvious that Rosenborg is the team bringing home the points for Norway
Nope. Molde qualified for the CL in 99, Stabæk beat out Anderlecht in the UEFAcup, Viking beat out Chelsea in the UEFAcup, Vålerenga beat out Wisla Krakow in the UEFA-cup, so many Norwegian teams have contributed to our UEFA score.
From those stats, Norway also has the 4th and 5th best teams, only behind the Danish superduo (and Rosenborg), that failed completely this season. The Norwegian teams behind Rosenborg have shown time and time again that they can compete at the same level or better than the other scandinavian teams, and Rosenborg have shown that they are better. Equally good teams (or maybe even a little bit better) + one better team, means that the league is slightly better.
Iversen, Sæternes, Johnsen, Braaten, Winters, Miller, Ødegaard, Berg, Strand, Solli, Gashi, Fredheim Holm, should I go on? I seem to know alot more about football than you do, little man.
talked to a norwegian friend just now, Bruiser you're full of ********.....even he, how's into norwegian football thinks Sweden is the better NT than Norway
VIF and Brann both got to a quarterfinal in one of the European cups in the last decade, Viking's victory a coule of seasons ago against Chelsea was well deserved, and Molde qualifying for the CL was very impressive. Only a couple of other teams have managed that from Scandinavia. Hopefully a few more teams, including VIF can say that next season.
