    I agree
    That I highly doubt.

Which leads directly to our problem, we have to play players out of position.

Don't think Loew trusts KGK since he came on and coughed up that peno in the training match

There were unly 1000-2000 Algerians in the stadium but you could hear them well. I guess like in Buli the broadcast has set up their stadium microphones infront of their block. From what we hear all of porto Alegre was clearly pro Germany.

Maybe you should attend training and report back what you find.

But will you admit we did our warnings rightfully so? I mean we knew this was about to happen. And we know what will happen on Friday in Rio.

Don't forget 3 midfielders is what this team should do. We can't play 2 central midfielders anymore

Lahm is forced to play there because of the injuries problem we had in the last 12 months, Gundogan and Bender bros out, Schwieni and Khedira are out for most of last season. We have no choice

And since we needa win the midfield battle, we have no choice but to play Lahm there.

Howedes and Mustafi only show that we lack options at fullback, just like our striker problem

Germans being whistled is nothing new. Every cup from 66-98 we'd get whistled all the time.

Durm is certainly quality and Grosskreutz can get the job done. Of course things would be better if we had Jantschke along but GK is a much better option than any of our CBs or betraying our midfield by moving Lahm back to FB.

Eh, Schurrle has been excellent in Reus's absence. He and Mueller make as good a striking partnership as we're going to get right now.

I dont know the result but I see our luck getting tested when we continue playing without fullbacks.

Well I have been far from a Mustafi fan as you know -- and I suspect you can tell what I think about Meatsacker by my nickname for him, BUT your CBs will always have difficulty when:
    1. You play a high line like the back four did during much of the game.
    2. Your coach is sending the wing backs up the flanks to attack.
    3. You play with with CBs that are slower than Canadian maple syrup in the Article at winter.
    4. Your opponent is smart enough to focus the counter attacks down the very flank you were just attacking from, leaving your flank exposed. In most formations your DMs or wing midfielders are supposed to hold those counters and press hard by tight marking...this didn't happen.
    5. Your wing MFs are not holding or pressing the counters effectively.
I'd love nothing more than to throw Meatsacker under the bus, but those counters down the flanks were not always his fault. He was totally abysmal as German defenders go, but some things were outside of his control. My two cents.

Anybody else think Neuer could go down as the greatest keeper ever? Despite his brain farts, he always shows up when it matters. Always.

He has HUGE shoes to fill in that area and a looooooong career left to prove he deserves that title. He was lucky one of his little forays out of the box didn't backfire on him yesterday. Had one of those gone even slightly wrong we'd be talking about how he lost the game yesterday.

For now it's a huge no.

I know. That's so funny. But then again the German press is notorious for being pessimistic. ;)

EDIT: Meatsacker's interview where he loses it a bit. I agree with him. This is a tournament and wins, whether ugly or pretty, are the most important thing. Does not excuse Löw's incompetence, but does excuses the team' play a bit.
