Why I am always one post late?
It's especially frustrating when it's one of my favorite hobbies: mocking Danny Califf.

Ok people who watched this game, give me your best objective opinion of the Boy Wonder's performance in his first La Liga start.

I would give him a 7 (out of ten). He was solid and useful today. Held up the ball well and looked dangerous on more than one opportunity. I really think if he gets more time , he could make an impact this year.

I think Villareal are just afraid to give such a young player such a prominent role on their star-studded team, so I really think a loan would be the best for Jozy.

    Very solid game...

Look, people, when we say that the Rossi issue is no longer up for debate, that's exactly what we mean. My understanding of shadowmwo's first question was that it was just that, a question. Once it was answered he did not bring it up again, therefore it does not constitute trolling. Kqql, you are the one pushing the issue and you need to drop it here and now.

He did about as well as a forward who didn't score a goal or get an assist can do. He had two good opportunities to score, but one was saved well, the other he didn't get a head on. He had several nice passes that led to botched shots by Rossi and Cazorla.

I think he headed through to put Rossi in on the keeper from a tight left angle - Rossi did pretty well with the ball but the keeper leg-saved for a corner. I was watching the feed on my laptop while doing other stuff, but what I could see he certainly didn't look out of place in any way. Can't say he looked a game changer, but I doubt he's expected to.

Silly foul on the PK, though the attacker did a good job making a meal of it. No way a ref could have let it go.

I love it that my fellow Yank Abroad fans finally get a chance to relish in the joy that is watching Pascal Cygan play football.

Yeah, I alluded to Cygan's play in the recent losses, and Arsenal fanboyz got all upset in the Jozy thread.

Listen, I'm a United supporter, and the only reason is because of my uncontrolled jealously of Arsenal. I mean, The One and Only Pascal Zidane once graced the hallowed grounds of the Highbury.

Why would you even do that? I have never seen Califf give less than 100%. He was MLS Defender of the year, went on to success in Denmark, and is a good team captain. He represents the US well. Try to stop being such a d*ck.
