What a sad loss to Racing. Mostasa had so much momentum going.

There were, however, a lot of injuries that the canallas had to deal with.

I think it goes much furthur than what the press is saying: I think it's related to the dirigencia. Keep in mind that Astrada joined Central a few years back and mysteriously left in less than a month, having not even coached a single game. The reason? The dirigentes.

I'm afraid you're spot on. It is such a shame to see a team with so much loyal support continually just throw it in the fans faces. Sigh...it's a curse being a Canalla.

    lineup:

    Broun
    Chittzof--GUILLE--Braghieri--Ambrosi
    Gomez--Mendez--Pagliuanga--Gervasio
    ----Zelaya-----Castellejos----------

The best players so far is, Broun, Mendez and Guille. the most talented and Creative is the 19 years old kido Jonathan Gomez who looks very talented. Mendez is the most important player, he is a CM with very strong and physical play but also a very elegant and cleaver player.

So far we had good season, with a stable defence and also decent attacking play. the most important thing is that it's a team, very organize and the results are good.

In the last game against Lanus Los Canallas played very well with attractive football but Marchesin the young GK of Lanus ********ed it up with an amazing show.

For Central, it's possible that Abbondanzieri returns as he'd be involved in a swap with Mendez. Another possibility was to get Gaitán on 6 months loan though he'd miss the beginning of the Clausura so it was discarded. Comes handy because Central is looking for a keeper seeing that Broun is injured.

Central wanted Chavez i think, not Gaitan.
There is also a problem with Braghieri who is also injured but "just" for 3 months, there was a talk about Lucho that will come home but he was also got injured....

It seems Figueroa could still come to Central injured or not, and yes Central wanted Chavez not Gaitán.

They'll be back soon. Too big of a club historically to stay in the B for too long. However, it must hurt. On the other hand, great time to be a Newell's fan!

DAMN. That must really suck. All Boys pulled out a massive win there. After 30 years they return to 1st div. When Central descended and returned the following year they won the championship and the copa mercosur so perhaps thats a good thing.
