In our new e-newsletter at SoccerLoop.com, we reported that Jim Rooney could be on his way to DC United soon via a trade.
LOL.. I was thinking a different Rooney from Everton.. I thought I would find.. "Made you look" when I came here. Here's some info on Jim Rooney.. http://www.mlsnet.com/bios/jim_rooney.html
Here is some more info on Jim Rooney: -He sucks -His career is over -He was the reason for the Revolution's early troubles. Last season with the Revs, he was awful. A complete disgrace. I had much bigger hopes for him coming into the season and he stunk out loud. Maybe it was just the Revolution curse, but good by Rooney! SUPAH REVOLUTION!!
Maybe he just doesn't fit into Clavijo or the other guy who took over who use to play for liverpool and I can't remember his name, but it's okay cos he's red scum anyhow.... Back to my point, I think Hudson knows how to use Rooney well, just look at that season he had in Miami. With Ray, it either floats or flops, there's no inbetween.
That would be 2002 Coach of the Year Steve Nicol It was not the system that made Rooney such a disgrace last season, it was his age. He was slow and made too many mistakes. He was beat by everyone and the majority of Revs fans hated him. Finally, Nicol realized it was time to put him in his new spot. I dont think there is a system that can fix that.
