Throw in 5 key passes, plus defensively 4 tackles, 1 interception and 1 clearance! Great response to that giveaway v AZ that cost PSV the match. That was a "I don't want to be a #6" performance.
That was my whole point on the page previous. He gets credit for an assist on a throw and now a tiny two foot pass that his teammate takes for a serious ride before scoring beautifully.... but gets no credit for that play in the 1st half where he takes an unreal touch off a long ball over his shoulder and in the same stride flicks it over perfectly for de Jong to put away. Assist numbers can be very misleading. Expected Assists might be a better stat for goal scoring chances created.
He was very impressive throughout. Here in Dublin, the commentators and studio analysts were purring over him, saying that if PSV are to be the first Dutch CL finalist in 30 years, he's the one to spearhead that
I don't know you, I've never seen your work, but I know you're consistently inconsistent... - Martin Short, in the Big Soccer Picture soon probably
I don't see him as a polarizing YA. He may be polarizing in other forums but here he's been consistently good. Perhaps the widest gap between quality of club vs country play of any Yank, but that's probably a topic for elsewhere. (And a different issue than polarizing, I think.)
And I'm not sure how anyone could have paid attention the past couple years and not come away with the notion that Reyna is the most polarizing. For both the YA and USA forums.
Still casting, let me give it some thought. Timothee Chalamet has already expressed interest in playing my role, but he insists on keeping a full head of hair.
Tim plays all the roles in a bid for the Oscar to his EGOT - kind of like of Robert Downey Jr. in the Sympathizer... but so much more!
It depends on the fact if a new James Bond is introduced. The last time it didnot work out that way, because PSV had a perfect machine, but no spare parts. So when Arsenal's asshole Fabregas couldnot deal with elimination, he kicked essential player Kone out of the match and out of the season. AC Milan just edged them out of the final. So, unless there's a new James Bond Next year, there's no PSV (or Feyenoord) next year or whatever Dutch club in any CL final.
