    Keep dreaming my friend ;)

Did you see what happened yesterday without Ronaldo ... the team looked lost infront of the goal ... Ronaldo puts all those in the back of the net ;)

    Re: Regarding ronaldo

That is actually what I meant but worded it poorly. :) He said he was too tired to play in all of the tournaments and matches in the summer - not that he didn't want to play in any of them. So Parreira axed him in all of them.

    Re: Regarding ronaldo

Well he had that header that was off sides and that shot to goal that just inched away from the post.In the game against Mexico he struggled a little but he will shine in the next game mark my word ;) .

Ronaldo busy promoting A1 Grand Prix

Ronaldo and Figo along with Sheikh Maktoum Hasher Maktoum al Maktoum, a member of the ruling family of Dubai (UAE) whose brainchild is the A1 Grand Prix, will be in New Delhi to unveil the Indian car for the A1 Grand Prix series. Australia, Brazil, Great Britain, India, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa, amongst others, are supposed to participate. Good that Ronaldo is looking for a career in car racing in the future. More reason perhaps as to why he might quit the NT after the WC.

    Re: Regarding ronaldo

Ronaldo is done after next year. He turns 30 in 2006 and by 2010 he won't be the agile megastar that he STILL is despite having had all those knee problems.

But next year if he is healthy (and there's not much to indicate he will not be) and if he clicks well with the quartet from the Confed Cup, there's nothing to stop him from dethroning the all-time greatest Pele as Brazil's top scorer in the World Cup.

The Hexa would be the perfect way to crown off his retirement from the NT - just as title number 6 was for Michael Jordan.

    Re: ronaldo play?

He is playing and he has spoken to the PRESS about this. He said the only reason he didn't play in Confederations is because he felt he needed rest. He also said that it is NOT TRUE that he PLANS to retire after the WC 2006.

    Re: ronaldo play?

Can't you search for it on the internet? It would take you much less time as well.

If you googled 'Ronaldo full name' you would get it: Ronaldo Luiz Nazario de Lima

    Re: ronaldo play?

Well it is slightly incorrect though
Portuguese grammar says it is Luiz, not Luíz
    Luís would be correct too

It is true that Ronaldo is lazy these days. What I am worrying is that he might just lose his ambition for the world cup -- looks very likely, and this could happen to everyone. He got almost all the honors in this soccer world even when he was young, he got so many titles and victories that no current player can match. Thanks God that there is still this all time scorer record waiting for him in the WC.
