    Gilberto Silva has been quoted as saying that he will "tip off" the club, if his Brazilian team mate Ronaldo has any desires to ply his trade in the EPL. He says, "There is only one English club to play for" and if Ronaldo is looking for a move in the future then I am sure that AW will be the first to be informed.

    That's what the man has said. Are you saying that there is as much chance of that happening, as say, someone inventing a "clockwork orange"!!!!!!!!!!

    No offense, I'm just laughing at the thought of a "Ronaldo to Arsenal" rumor.

    How does this sound; although I would not want it to happen, and maybe not for a few seasons, but acting on Gilberto Silva's statement, the fact that our chairman states he won't pay "mega buck" wages, and Ronaldo has already taken a drop in his current transfer;
    "Ronaldo to Highbury with Vieria going the other way"?
    Does that shorten the odds? Not too much to "laugh about" that is there?

    The last time there was a rumor like this, Arsene Wenger said he have to sell the whole Highbury Stadium if he wanted to buy Ronaldo.

    Between Silva's tips and the rumored appointment of Scolari as a scout Arsenal seems to be destined for some latin flair. How many samba clubs are there in North London?
