Say, I am an investor, who knows nothing about football or sports or sports in “Europe” and I am looking at this ownership of this London sports club and I am thinking why is this such a bad investment. Why are here 5 sporting Directors when one is sufficient? No sponsorship deal. Sticking purely to basic business. My assessment is that the people running this investment clearly do not know what they are doing and need to be cleared out of the way. They have wasted an absolute fortune and they are totally mismanaging this investment.

I guess he can’t get hurt if he’s not at the WC, but feel awful for Cole Palmer. He deserves to be there. That England squad is lacking.

I was shocked to not see him in the squad.

To be fair it's not been his best season and purely selfish and not an English supporter I am happy to see him getting some rest and hopefully he will be back stronger than ever next season

I like personally. I love it when there's a little bit of gold in them. But I think gold and blue is an underrated combination.

Well I’m always a fan of gold/maize and blue…but that CWC badge is a real eyesore. Put it on the sleeve.

    Very Visceral :D

too busy, too much gold, and most of all the change in the Badge.

(Also was an interesting article a bit back that this is part of a plan to change "Chelsea Football"'s identity to "CFC LDN" to circumvent the Chelsea Pitch Owners.

Pete Cech on drums and creating his own part in a journey song. I like.

Anyone else watching in US on Foxone tv app, in the last 20 of every match Saturday the feed buffered, cut out and broke, missed the end of the first 3 matches

I personally like the 26-27 kits with the gold highlights and the embossed badge in the pattern, but I know many don’t. I definitely hated the 24-25 fancy soap kit.

What historical kits have come closest to being either universally beloved or universally reviled?

Chelsea have sold Andray Santos to Manchester United for £50M.

I am sorry to see him go, he was showing some promise in his appearances last season.

Why sell our promising players and leave the rubbish.

PSR? I don't know how much money we lose by not qualifying for European football but I think it has its consequences. We gotta accept we are not in the same position as we once were, we ARE also ran's among a bunch of other 'also ran's' trying to become a top 4 side again. It could be worse.............Bournemouth did finish in a European place but STILL their best players get poached by 'bigger' clubs. I think our 'name' in the game still gives us a little bit of lure and 'protection'.

    Ken Bates has passed.

Definitely part of a different time in sport.

I was never his biggest fan but he did save the club and set up the pitch owners. RIP

By all accounts a ruthless b*stard.........but that was EXACTLY what we needed at that time, he undoubtedly saved the club from the founders greedy grandson.
