Yes, every team will be looking for someone who can chuck the ball into the penalty area even if they don't normally use a long throw. I had to laugh at one stage a Lincoln player kicked an up and under into our penalty area.

He just loves being banned .He was banned from driving and then he got a car with tinted windows and then he got banned from driving again. . .and now. . . Mudryk has received a suspension from playing Counter-Strike 2. He was playing against Polish players and he made references to the massacres perpetrated by the Nazis in Volhynia, Poland. He was being taunted by his opponents, with one writing: “Bro, do more drugs.” and he responded by being pro-Nazi and celebrating the Nazi massacre of Poles. He will be able to return to gaming in early March. Not sure when his football ban is over. But he is still on our books and he is earning 6 million Euros a year.

I don't usually like it when the managers get all the blame and sacked willy nilly but in this case I think there is little doubt it was the right decision - we all knew that he shouldn't have really been appointed in the first place, another wasted season. The powers that be said in they will have a period of "self reflection" which is also something much needed! We can only hope that after their "self reflection" they come to the conclusion that we need a PROVEN TOP CLASS manager then the need to LET THEM MANAGE and not tell them who they can or can't play! Then give them a bit of time and hey presto - it ain't rocket science! I doubt it means we win the league any time soon but we gotta stop this alarming slide into obscurity or else we are toast!

No no point, season done, was done the day Maresca threw his toys out of the pram really. Are we ready to admit we are NO LONGER a top 4 club? Fact is we haven't been for a couple of seasons now, Putin and the British government ended that glorious period of history for us! - let's have expectations accordingly or we are in for a TON of hurt! First things first we ARE statistically currently the worst team in the division, if we dont change things we will be relegated next season (ala Leicester), but if we can admit to ourselves we are where we are we might at least start fighting. We MUST appoint a capable manager and we MUST fix the holes in our squad - an added bonus would be trying hard to keep the handful of class players we already have. We do these things and temper our expectations we are going to be OK. I think the last time we needed (and got) a complete reset like this was when Hoddle first walked through the door (the start of a long process of improvement that's only recently started going in reverse).
Well I had to sit through it with gritted teeth to avoid joining in with the booing. I think that this side to side rubbish is now part of the team's DNA. They can't help it. There is zero movement off the ball so we are easy to press and mark. The quality of passing is appalling how can it be so slow and inaccurate at the same time!

I think that it will take time, it needs a full pre season but in a world cup year that's not going to happen. The players will have to really believe in the coach to change styles. However if we don't change the directors it will be back to the tippy tappy crap and I will not be renewing my season ticket as it's just too painful to watch. It's not the loosing it's the way we loose. Even the odd game we win is painful to watch. I have been supporting this club since 1964, I have done my time.
I still just think this is alarmist. We’re not getting relegated next year. We’ve had a bad string but the right manager can make all the difference. Just the law of averages suggests these sporting directors will eventually luck into a capable man.

Yes you're right of course - the right manager can make all the difference, however we gotta acknowledge that since Thomas Frank was sacked by Spurs on February 11th, we have the lowest points tally of ANY team in the Premier League and would sit at the bottom of a Premier League table since that date, that is THREE MONTHS of being the worst team in the league, if we have 3 months like that at the beginning of next season then we are 'cut adrift' like Wolves were this season and its relegation. That run includes SIX STRAIGHT LOSSES in the league where we have squeaked ONE goal while conceding 3 in three of the last 4! Don't underestimated just how BAD we are right now.
