Pulisic crying more about how Tuchel was mean to him The decision by Tuchel was obviously the right one, and this makes Pulisic look like a baby. Time for him to go IMO
THAT constitutes “crying?” He wants to play and contribute and got frustrated when the coach changed the plan they discussed? And then he comes in as asked and performs well? What a monster.
Haha okay fine, I'm overreacting a bit maybe This is a lousy move though. It's an excerpt from his upcoming biography intended to generate buzz and sell books. So they got me I guess. But honestly, my man, you're a professional athlete. The coach made a decision that he thought gave the team the best chance to win. He was quite obviously correct by the way but even if he had not been, you're in no position to be "dumbfounded" by such a thing. Credit to him for playing well when he came on I guess. But talking about in like he did is just entitled whining. Ideally, I'd prefer athletes to not react like this but if you do, keep it to yourself at least. And if you're gonna air it in public, if its in the heat of the moment like a presser post-game or whatever that's understandable. But this? Very distasteful IMO. Okay I'm back where I started. Get this baby off the team
Don't think I ever said that. Than again I'm still sleep deprived from a new born so... Tuchel needed to go in my eyes. He was causing more harm than good. Whether from a back room perspective or player relations. Potter is getting more of a "preseason" than Tuchel atm so i have high expectations.
I see the confusion now... I think I quoted the wrong post or just misread. Thought I read someone posting that Potter would open the door for Lukaku to return. The "they can have him" was in reference to inter keeping him
Boy this makes so much more sense lol All is excused given the "sleep-deprived with a new born" thing. There's nothing quite like the haze you live in for those 3-6 months
In fairness, it's normal to be upset when the boss tells you one thing and does another. Now biographies when you're barely in your mid-20s on the other hand.
I mean why not capitalize on a money making opp right before a WC. He’s done a lot of things for the US soccer scene. He’s also not the first. Rooney did this as well.
Yeah I don't hold the book thing against him. If I could make some serious cash by sitting down for a few hours to talk to someone and having them write a book about me, I'd do it in a second. It is surprising to me that anyone would pay for a book describing the first quarter of the life of a person who plays a kids game, and a moderately consequential (at best) one at that, but that's where we are as a culture I guess
Typically players wait till they retire to write a book to make some extra cash. Maybe agent dad is giving him great advice once again.
Well, here we are, we all see the potential in the lad Pulisic, but this is his 'make or break' season with us now. He has to prove it on the pitch. Being 'mouthy' and whiny off the pitch is not a good look, for anybody, especially a player who hasn't done it yet. We have all seen glimpses of how good Pulisic can be, sure he is better than Freddy Adu, but come on, hashtag #getyourshittogetherlad. Whats the title of his book? Pulisic: The baby man years
FYI Puli missed today's friendly against Japan due to picking up a knock in training. It's clock work with him and extremely frustrating. I want him to succeed but between these international injuries, his whining and mouthy father....it's difficult to argue in his favor.
Puli has really taken a beating in the US sports media lately. Hope he's smart and just grinds himself back into the squad. Has every opportunity available to do so.

I guess, but the article said this is the first one ever issued. I’m waiting for a ref to pull a white card and have the other team crowd around him to protest.
