Chelsea Player Timo's last touch goal seals goal record for old Club: https://www.tribalfootball.com/arti...with-final-rb-leipzig-touch-4331304#popup-sso
Chelsea seem to confirm new kit, seems like from a knockoff $2.99 FIFA video game https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...1-season-posters-outside-Stamford-Bridge.html
It reminds me of intermural indoor when the other team just goes and gets T-shirts with numbers printed on them.
I was always worried about how they could make the logo look decent. Seems they haven't tried and just accepted the fact it's a terrible logo that is beyond redemption. Still, if it helps fund a squad that lifts trophies, I'm all for it. Its been a while since I had any expectations of a new shirt anyway. The Adidas branding of three stripes is so prominent that, to me, they looked like Adidas shirts first, Chelsea second. I didnt buy a single one for their whole run. The only shirt I bought since we left umbro was that fa cup one off from earlier this season. That thing was excellent and will suit my needs for the next few years I expect.
Being real real old school I have never owned a club shirt, but I was tempted by the cup one with no advertising.
This year's FA cup retro was awesome. Second Chelsea kit I ever bought, after the work of art that was the centenary kit:
3 mobile and another 40 million quid year. FUGLY shirts are not for real fans anyways, or at least they never used to be.
https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2...rmed-for-chelsea-vs-manchester-united-fa-cup- FA Cup semi final set. Sunday July 19 at 6pm local time. Oh and it is at Wembley as originally planned.
I've had many Chelsea shirts over the last 30 years, starting with the attached beaut. Think my last kit though was 2012 though. Missed out on the Cup anniversary kit, sadly. My initial response to this one was that it was utter trash. The worst home kit since the early 80s. Watching them play in it... I was very wrong. Still should be 'Three' instead 3 though.
Well Kov out a couple matches with achilles injury; more Barkley and Tomori still out about a week before he starts training
Lamp on why we suck ate set-pieces and what we may do https://www.goal.com/en-tza/news/la...ngs-to-stop-obvious/vok7rvrmch6l19v7kuc4gsigy .............................. and I recall pictures of JT going head-first in, cleats going towards his face, eyes wide open, no hesitation; this ain't that:
Kante out with hammy, lets hope we shut him down and hope he is ready for early next season fully rested again
We ran him into the ground. I know it was a game we had to win, but Watford was the best option to not start him and give him some rest
“Kante won’t be in the squad. He hurt his hamstring, it is a low level hamstring injury, maybe a week (before he returns),” Lampard told reporters in a virtual news conference. “Kovacic trained with us but won’t be ready. (Centre back Fikayo) Tomori had a setback, hopefully (he is) back next week.”" https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-soccer-england-cry-che-preview-idUKKBN2471R3
The problem with Adidas is that they really only had templates that they recycled year after year. Their kits were always clean, but really they were mostly meh once you realized that. I genuinely like the new kits because they're different and unique to us. The sponsorship sucks but whatever, they pay us.
Not sure I saw this posted anywhere. http://worldsoccertalk.com/2020/07/...ames-from-gold-to-peacock-for-2020-21-season/
