He's reported as "injured" by FlashScore, no further details.

Hopefully (?) still injured - not in the 18 for the second leg against Wolfsburg today.

    Not promising...

Romain Gall continues to be prioritized lower than even the young players, as he alternated for a long time between being out of play and being a right back in the reserve.

He's only played in 2 cup games, 3 Europa qualifiers and 1 Europa game, that is six caps this season and only 224' total, yet he's got 2 goals and 3 assists.

But if the coach doesn't like him, well, nothing to do.

Gall, on loan to Stabaek in Norway, is in the 11 today for their first game back. It’s early days, 0-0, but good sign he’s getting first team minutes already. European football is European football. Wish we could watch.

Probably wanted more defensive minded players considering his approach with Fortuna Düssledorf right now. Squeezing every little result just to stay up.

I happened to get to watch Stabæk on Tuesday. From what I saw, Romain was on the left flank and rarely got the ball and when he did get the ball, it was in spaces where he could not turn and run. This Stabæk squad finished in 8th last campaign but they look bad. I don't know how they managed that result.

The bad news: Stabaek is a terrible team.

The good news: Half of the other teams in that league are worse.

Last year I watched a Lillestrom-Valerenga where about 60% of the passes were to the rival. If you think MLS is bad¹ and that depressed you, watch the Eliteserien...

    ----
    ¹ It is.
