Malmo are being jeered at home as they allow Vidi to tie it up at 1-1 in the 70th, still no Gall. Bring him on!
He flubbed a slow shot straight at the keeper. It wasn't a great opportunity (believe just inside the box) but it was a weak shot

24' in. Not a very exciting game. 0-0. Gall looks very comfortable playing as sort of a #10/shuttler type position. He's good at getting the ball from his teammates and immediately looking for a quick pass forward to up the tempo.
ASSIST FOR GALL! An absolutely perfectly floated cross for a teammate, who brings it down and fires it home. 1-0 in the 1st half edit: AHHHHH SOOO CLOSE! Brings the ball down in the box in the 50th, puts a rocket on goal that is beaten away by the keeper.
I don't know if they'll ever really be in the mix for regular USMNT minutes, but I'm sure pulling for guys like Gall, Hyndman, and Hines-Ike who are grinding in Europe. I hope they can all work their way to top-10 leagues over the next four years.
Really not sure. Perhaps match fitness? Pretty much every positive, offensive thing that has come from Malmo this half has come through Gall. Malmo like to control the tempo...... a lot. They tend to play very slow and methodical and Gall's game is all about being that spark to speed things up. With them being up 1-0, I could see it being a move to sure things up even more and slow the game down. Watching Malmo these last few weeks has been so weird. They're a team that, even when they have more quality, don't want to "go for it". Their games are like 90 minute possession drills. All of that to say, in order of most likely... 1. They want to get more control of the midfield 2. They want him to start in the big Champions League qualifier on Tuesday, so they're giving him rest 3. Match fitness
