Sundsvall lost 3-0. Gall apparently had a good attempt on goal in the opening minutes, though.

Credible journalist reports reigning champions Malmö FF are looking to sign Gall in this summer window.

Interesting. Also states that Malmo view Gall as a potential replacement for Mattias Svanberg, who was just sold to Bologna.

Is Malmo in CL or Europa League? That's always a nice platform for a player to show themselves for a bigger move later.

I'm watching the 2nd half and I like what I see. Gall has solid positioning, he knows how to show for the ball and he does not turn it over in midfield He creates and takes advantage of angles with and without the ball. He's been pretty successful in his dribbles. He defends decently enough from his position.

I can see him transitioning to the Eredivisie pretty smoothly.

Malmö - literally. Malmö FF. It's a pretty sweet move.

League match against Örebo on Saturday. They play in the CL Second Qualifying Round on Tuesday against Romanian champs CFR Cluj. Wonder when he makes his first appearance?

Not the worst move but the transfer fee makes me think, was the interest from anywhere else real?

Not necessarily. Malmö won't be favored to get out of qualifying. If they defeat CFR Cluj in the 2nd round, they'll be unseeded in the next two.

If they get bounced, they will still have a shot at qualifying for Europa League group stage.

Is he able to be registered for this qualifying round of Champions League or would he have to wait for if/when they qualify for group stage?

IIRC, there's re-registration after every qualifying round, so they should be able to add him for the Second Qualifying Round.

After how poorly his American stint went, I'm glad that he's landed on his feet and is progressing upwards. Plus, he's only 23, which shows that you shouldn't write off young players who might just be in the wrong situation.

Unrelated, please don't read any of my posts about Gedion Zelalem.

That starting wing spot opposite of Pulisic is up for grabs still. I could see Gall being a serious contender for that spot. Amon, Weah, Saief, and Green all in the mix.

But by the end of the year depending how guys do, numerous guys can get a chance soon! Like Gyau, Mueller, Baird, Sabbi, Lewis, etc..

Will be nice to finally have good wingers since the Donovan/Dempsey’s days!!! It’s been FIVE YEARS. Freaking sad
